Ok so how do you know where to start..." I remember thinking are you kidding this all so OVERWHELMING so where do I start"

My answer is take "baby steps"
So that is where "you" need to start.

The list here are the basic's every family will need to have in their own food storage. I give you this list so you can figure out what you need, what you have, and how to  begin to acquire those items.
Right now don't worry about how much you need just make a basic list so you can figure out what you need. What items in the grain will your family already eat? These are the basics that will keep your family feed in hard times (if and when they come) Ok so tonight just write these down somewhere. Make a list so that when you shop you have these things in the front of you mind... We will work on the next step in a day or two.
